Storm Wind Hail Damaged Roof
The 100+-year-old roof on the ACE Hardware in Marlin, Texas suffered a lot of damage when baseball-sized hail broke the front windows of the building, the roof skylight, and the roof, which was damaged beyond repair.
Clark Roofing was brought in for the removal of the original metal roof, one built-up roof, one elastomeric coating on the second built-up roof layer, as well as the removal of the top layer of the built-up roof.
For this commercial project, we installed new insulation on the roof deck and a new 60-mil Mule-Hide TPO roof system as well as new guttering. The new roof carries a 20-year roof warranty, will provide three times the amount of insulation the previous roof had, and will also reflect sunlight. With both the insulation and TPO roof system, energy costs will decrease significantly.
