Homeowners Association Roof Replacement

Homeowners Associations manage common or shared property, protect owners’ property values, and provide services to residents. Such is the case with the Old Mill Creek homeowners association roof replacement project in Woodway, Texas.

Clark Roofing and two other companies bid on the project. We were interviewed twice by both the HOA and the property management company. Ultimately, the HOA and property management company selected Clark Roofing because of our “best value and bang for the buck.”

The project included removing and replacing wind and hail-damaged shingles on 14 townhomes. We upgraded the HOA from a three-tab shingle to the Owens Corning Duration shingle with a wind rating of 130 mph. The three-tab shingle is prone to wind damage. And for the past five years, we have repaired the roofs through our maintenance program. Finally, the public adjuster got the HOA the wind and hail claim they deserved.

Clark Roofing replaced all the roofs and detached and reset the gutters. Homeowners were given the option of new gutters at a reasonable cost, and several homeowners took advantage of that option. Because of rotted siding and framing around the chimneys, we removed and rebuilt the chimneys. We also re-flashed and installed new crickets on them.

As weather allowed, we replaced one roof per day. The total roof squares for this project was 900 squares or 90,000 square feet of roofing material.
