Roofing Sales Estimator Job Opening Summary
Clark Roofing is looking for an energetic and positive individual to create and build long-term client relationships in order to secure $5M-$10M annually in commercial roofing projects along the Austin to Dallas I-35 corridor.
What You Will Be Doing
Commercial sales. Identify potential commercial clients to establish and manage long-term relationships in order to generate new commercial roofing sales to meet company sales goals and profitability. Client portfolio should be focused primarily along the Austin to Dallas I-35 corridor and could include design build, general contractors, architects, building owners, engineering firms, construction managers, management companies, roof consultants and developers.
Close new business deals by facilitating the proposal process for new clients including budget and pricing development, proposal writing, contract development, which integrates with business operations; contract negotiations, and client presentations.
Work closely with insurance companies, insurance adjusters, clients, customers, and all other parties involved in claims and establish a good rapport with all parties and determine appropriate plans to get the building back to pre-loss condition as quickly as possible.
Establish and maintain on-going client relationships to anticipate additional project requirements and opportunities; resolve potential problems; and participate in site visits/meetings.
Communicate to the team the outcome of the negotiations/proposals, project performance, tracking and reporting on the status of all proposal/contract components.
Perform other estimating and project management duties as assigned.
What We Need From You
Proven track record of sales and client retention.
5+ years of commercial roofing experience in Texas, including insurance-funded construction sales experience.
Strong knowledge of all types of roofing systems, including but not limited to, new construction roofing, re-roofing, architectural sheet metal, standing seam metal roofing, custom sheet metal fabrication, metal wall panels and service and maintenance.
